Hi Jeremy,I have perused the Anonymous Law Firm website and am interested to know whether Anonymous Law Firm is a legitimate practice. If so, can you please provide me with information regarding application procedures and what sort of employment opportunities are currently on offer.I am currently in my final year of law in Australia and am keen to practise overseas.Kind Regards,

May I please respond?

Post his resume, Jeremy. Your readers should get to vote him in.

Please please please get a resume, and then post it on the firm site. No, wait, that would be mean.
Ahem.
Although I can't help him with his interest in practicing law overseas (is this really a native speaker of English? I can't believe he is. Maybe it's really a Nigerian scam or something), I do however have a remarkable real estate opportunity for him.
It's a fixture, located conveniently between Manhattan and a neighboring Borough, and every day it transports thousands upon thousands of workers to their jobs and homes every day. For sale cheep!

Aw, I kinda feel bad for him. He didn't get "it."

Hahahaha, oh man, you're so witty Eh Nonymous.

Eh Nonymous, you doubt his English because of the "practiSe"? If so, that's how countries outside of America (and probably Canada) spell it when it comes to the verb of "practice". It's quite simply British English.

Resipsacrap, I'm assuming Eh Nonymous doubts his English for the same reason I do: most native English speakers know what "Anonymous" means and, therefore, that something billing itself as "Anonymous Law Firm" isn't likely to be a real practice.

Maybe the joke's on us? The person obviously knows that Jeremy created the website, hence he's written to him (unless there's some other way for people to get through to him from the website). I'm guessing our wannabe practitioner from Australia knows full-well it's a hoax, and is playing along.
Of course, maybe I'm just being generous.

it must be a joke. I'm an aussie and we're not that stupid. We understand sarcasm better than Americans!

I'm sure you do.

Maybe he's desperate. It's a tough graduate market in Australia.Maybe he thinks it's a firm playing up?

You know, it gives me an interesting idea. You could actually have people "apply" for "jobs" at Anonymous Law Firm, and post profiles of those who are successful. I'd be a pretty good promo for the book, too.
Give the kid a job!
Sadly, I think I'd make quite good Anonymous Law Firm material...

Sarah, I think your suggestion's fantastic! You're right, it is a sad world (really).
And the legal market in Australia is saturated - can't blame them for trying! :) Even if they are a bit naive!

He probably knows its a faux firm. I mean, he "perused the Anonymous Law Firm website". How could you possibly read through the lawyer profiles without knowing its fiction?
