I've been doing some mild "research" about the changes to the Harvard 1L curriculum -- Boston Globe article here, and I'll hopefully have some opinion about it soon -- and was looking at Harvard-related message board threads to see what student reaction I could find, and came across this post, about a Harvard Law event from the Dean of Students office. If this is made up, it's very funny. If it's real, it's terrifying. If someone lets me know if this is real, I'll post an update.
[Update: this is real, I've been told. wow.]
General Interest: Volunteer To Be Part of "What To Wear in Winter Climates" Event
Are you a 2L or 3L who came to HLS from a much warmer place? Did you have trouble adapting to the chilly Cambridge climate? While we all know that the New England weather can be hard to get used to, it can be especially difficult for students who have recently relocated from more temperate places. The Dean of Students Office will host a forum to tackle this issue. Please email dos if you are a 2L or 3L who has gone through this, and would be willing to share expert tips, advice, and even props (think the best jacket you ever purchased or your favorite rain proof boots) to help students who may need some assistance adjusting.
