Just finished reading Chuck Klosterman IV, a collection of essays mostly about music. I read one previous Klosterman book, the one with Cocoa Puffs in the title, and really liked it. This one, also good. I skimmed some of the essays about heavy metal groups that I never heard of, and didn't bother with the short fiction section at the end, but I really really liked most of the essays. Klosterman's a great writer, and you really feel like you get inside his head. The piece about Bono is great, the Billy Joel piece is terrific, the Radiohead piece is really interesting. Lots of thought-provoking, good stuff.
