"You liked this movie?"
"So why did you tell me to see it?"
"Because at least I thought it would be easy to follow, and you'd know what was going on."
"Oh, I did! But it wasn't any good! I thought it was such a weird movie, such a strange idea for a movie. When you're close to death, you don't feel like running away like they did! How could they do all the things they did? They didn't feel well! So that spoiled the whole thing for me, because I didn't think that was realistic. When you're in that position in life, you don't take off on adventures like that. You want to stay put. You don't have the energy. You think they're two young kids, it didn't make any logical sense. Plus, what kind of illnesses were there where they had no symptoms and just wanted to run off and have fun. And to leave his wife the way he did -- that wasn't very nice! He just took off. When you're old you realize that the important thing in life is family. Family is what you have at the beginning, and at the end. You want to stay close to your family when you're old, you want to spend time with them. You don't want to be running off on some sort of ridiculous adventure, especially if you don't even feel well. It was a weird plot. And if the one guy didn't have all that money they couldn't have done all these things anyway, so even if they thought they were making this movie to make people feel good about getting old, and that they can still go on adventures, no one in the real world could ever afford that kind of thing anyway. So the whole thing was just very stupid to me. It didn't seem like any of it could happen, I didn't believe these were real people. If they were real people, they would have stayed home and wanted to rest, not run around the world if you have cancer and you're going to die. What a weird movie."
