I did an e-mail interview in character as Anonymous Lawyer with someone at the King County Bar Bulletin. I think it's a decent interview, but I feel like, in an interview context, I'm still figuring out what Anonymous Lawyer's voice is.
This afternoon I have a meeting with my publisher. He's supposed to give me an Advance Reading Copy, just off the press. That's like a book, only with typos (it's the pre-copyedited text, I think). But with a glossy hardcover like the real one will have. Exciting.
How could you do this to me, A.L.?! I thought we had something special!

I'm confused. Do people not know who you really are?

Very few people are interested. What's the difference?

Jeremy, I did not write the above.
As you can tell, synoymous lawyer has hit again.

According to that interview you took the bar. I had assumed that you didn't take the bar since you didn't want to practice law.
But I guess, why not have that under your belt in case you change your mind?
Was that what you were thinking?
