For Your Consideration

I generally like Christopher Guest's movies.  This one wasn't that funny.  This review gets it pretty much spot on.   If you're going to satirize Hollywood, at least have some sort of point of view, some basis in reality.  The "Home For Purim" scenes -- the movie-within-the-movie -- are amusing, but the rest of it just sort of falls flat.  The New York Times review says all this too.
