I'm not sure this'll lead to anything but I told her I'd give it a try -- I've got a friend who just moved out to San Francisco, Georgetown Law '06, waiting for February bar results (California), she's looking for legal work, firm or not firm, and asked me if I have any ideas about where she could look. I suggested reaching out to the firms that recruited on campus originally, because at least she knows they make a habit of hiring, but I'm not sure if there's anything more to tell her -- legal recruiters, placement agencies, I have no idea how someone goes about finding a law job outside of the on-campus recruiting stuff when you're still a student. (She's also willing to move to LA if that market ends up being easier to break into.) So I told her I'd post and see if anyone has any ideas. Hence, this post. You know where to reach me -- I'll pass along anything anyone e-mails me or leaves in the comments. Thanks.
Hey, I'm in the exact same situation. Moved to SF, waiting for Feb. bar results, looking for a proper legal job , etc... (only I went to BU, not Georgetown.) So I'd welcome any feedback you come up with as well, and tell your friend to get in touch with me if she wants to meet someone to commiserate with.

1. Contact GULC OCS if she hadn't already done so.
2. Contact GULC alumni office for alumni contacts. As a GULC student, the alumni office is completely foreign and off-limits for me. But not for her. Besides, it's in their interest to help out someone who would then be in a position to repay the favor.
3. Contact GULC OPICS for public interest jobs.
4. Legal temping/doc review to get foot in the door at a firm.

Guerrilla Tactics for Getting the Legal Job of Your Dreams by Kimm Walton, J.D. has helped me a lot, plus the author has a fine sense of humor.
To sum up the book in a word: network.
She tells you (in great detail) to
1)Figure out what you want
2) Find what's out there that fits what you want
3) Find out everything you can about that place and conduct an informational interview with the people in that firm
4) Tell any- and everyone you know what you want so they immediately think of you when your dream job comes up.
Read the book; it's informational and such a fun read.

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
God will appreciate it.

An amazing Forex signal service should offer signals on all major trading pairs, highly (as in extremely) accurate signals, you can get started with these extremely accurate Forex signals immediately, as in ASAP. Now let's face it, there's a bunch of junk out there in the Forex market, some signal services are inconsistent, some just offer trading on a single currency pair such as the Eur/Usd, & others are just slow to deliver. Today, we're going to help you pick a great Forex Signal Service, an accurate service that offers 100% automatic trading signals! Three Key To Look For 1.) Accuracy: One of the most important aspects of a great service is accuracy. While many signal services have an accuracy rating of around 60%, the best are around 85%+. Accuracy is key to your success trading Forex. 2.) Ease Of Use: A great service should be easy to use. Some of the best offer a member's area, automatic customer service, 100% automatic signals with automatic delivery, straightforward prediction charts, customizable strategies & much more. 3.) Pairs Traded: The currency pairs which the service trades is another very important aspect to consider when choosing a service. While some services just trade the EUR/USD pair, there are many out there which trade several currency pairs. One particular high quality Forex signal service delivers signals for all major Forex currency pairs, giving traders a great choice when trading automatically using signals. Some even offer specialized prediction charts for the currency pairs that you're trading, another bonus added by some of these companies. Now listen carefully, if you're ready to make real money in Forex,earning more pips than you ever imagined completely on autopilot, take2 minutes to read the next page. www.Smartforexsignal.com is offering their amazing automated trading services at a huge discount, you're gonna want to get in on this limited time offer! get started!

Car accident and drunk drivers are the most pressing problems of our everyday life.
According to the World Health Organization, each year 1.2 million people die and nearly 50 million of people are injured or became disabled in car accidents. The cost of road traffic injuries for each country is almost 518 billion dollars per year, which is from one to two percent of their average Gross National Product. By 2020, the car accident will be the tenth leading cause of death in the world.
To solve the problem and reduce death rate of car accidents on the roads, according to World Health Organization, it is necessary to resolve the five major tasks: riding a motorcycle without a helmet, problem of road infrastructure, problem of speeding, problem of alcohol consumptions and the usage of safety belts.
In the whole Europe the death rates during car accidents has steadily decreased: in 1991 – 162 deaths per 1 million citizens, in 2004 – 95; in 2007 – 77. In 2007, the most dangerous roads in Europe were in Lithuania, where out of every million people in the car accident died 223 people, and in Latvia – 177. But still some other new EU members remain problematical, such as Estonia and Poland where the number of car accidents continue increasing.
The main reasons of car accidents are: the tendency of modern European drivers to constantly increase the speed of driving, neglecting the rules of safety belts usage and security facilities for children (child seats). In most of the Eastern European countries that undergo rapid motorization, road infrastructure development, the progress of security services cannot withstand the increased load.
The experience of countries with developed motorization, such as Canada, France, Finland and the United States, proves that to reduce car accidents and avoid the enormous social and economic losses the next steps should be followed:
Car accident
• a flexible and adequate legislative framework for the organization of traffic;
• road infrastructure: to settle pedestrian crossings, repairing roads, provide the necessary number of parking spaces;
• pay special attention to promotion of traffic safety and clearly show the consequences of traffic violations to people.
The main focus of foreign legislation system, to avoid car accidents on the road and provide its safety is the violators’ liability.
