I'm not sure this'll lead to anything but I told her I'd give it a try -- I've got a friend who just moved out to San Francisco, Georgetown Law '06, waiting for February bar results (California), she's looking for legal work, firm or not firm, and asked me if I have any ideas about where she could look.  I suggested reaching out to the firms that recruited on campus originally, because at least she knows they make a habit of hiring, but I'm not sure if there's anything more to tell her -- legal recruiters, placement agencies, I have no idea how someone goes about finding a law job outside of the on-campus recruiting stuff when you're still a student.  (She's also willing to move to LA if that market ends up being easier to break into.)  So I told her I'd post and see if anyone has any ideas.  Hence, this post.  You know where to reach me -- I'll pass along anything anyone e-mails me or leaves in the comments.  Thanks.

2. Contact GULC alumni office for alumni contacts. As a GULC student, the alumni office is completely foreign and off-limits for me. But not for her. Besides, it's in their interest to help out someone who would then be in a position to repay the favor.

4. Legal temping/doc review to get foot in the door at a firm.

Car accident and drunk drivers are the most pressing problems of our everyday life.
According to the World Health Organization, each year 1.2 million people die and nearly 50 million of people are injured or became disabled in car accidents.
