Just watched the Tony Awards. The creator/writer/star of In The Heights (which won best musical) went to my high school. We were in a chorus together at some point, but didn't really know each other. Pretty cool though. My high school's kind of a Tony Award factory lately -- one of the Avenue Q writers went there too. Haven't seen In The Heights, but I've been listening to the soundtrack the past few days and think it's pretty impressive. I'll see it at some point, I'm sure. In any case, pretty cool stuff for a 28-year-old and his first musical. Pretty cool.
